Our flexible business model is to seek balance among these three models--Own Brand
Manufacturing (OBM), Independent Design House (IDH) and Original Design Manufacturing
(ODM). We design and market products in local pilot markets under our own brand
name, and we tailor our or clients' product designs to meet custom requirements
for our IDH and ODM clients in the global market.
Our experienced product team consists of scientists, art designers, and content
producers. Our management team harnesses and focuses the creativity of our product
team through well-organized, industry-proven processes and insists on building products
with quality disciplines.
Gigabyte Communications Inc. was founded in February 2004, and is wholly owned by
GIGA-BYTE Technology Co. Ltd (GBT). Our headquarters are located in Hsin-Tien, Taipei
County, Taiwan.
Founded in April 1986, GIGABYTE Technology is now a renowned leader in the motherboard industry. GIGA-BYTE Technology has been listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) since September 1998 and the Luxemburg Stock Exchange (LSE) since July 2000.
Its annual revenue has grown consistently since its IPO, reaching US$1,154 million in 2004. It now supplies more than 10% of PC motherboards world-wide.
