| Upgrading Windows Mobile 6 is an
irreversible process. Once you upgrade to Windows Mobile 6, you will not be
able to reverse the operating system back to Windows Mobile 5.0. Please make
sure you would like to upgrade before doing so.

| 1. Please make sure your phone model is i300 English
version. If any failure arises due to forced upgrades on non i300 English
version phones, the failure will be treated as customer-abuse and is subject to
repair with standard charge. |
| 2. All of your data will be wiped off when you
upgrade the firmware. Please backup all personal files and any applications you
installed to PC before upgrading. Please note that the image backup by
PocketGhost does NOT support cross-OS backup or restoration. We suggest that
you backup your personal data via ActiveSync beforehand. For user-installed
applications, please make a copy of all installation files (usually in .exe or
.cab format) on your mini SD card or PC and reinstall the applications when you
finish upgrading to WM6.

| 3. Upgrading to Windows Mobile 6 will remove
Scheduler, SMS Scheduler, and Pocket Ghost from the system. After upgrading, if
you would like to back up any data, please go to Programs > Tools
> Spb Backup instead.

| 4. Please make sure the battery is over 60% full
before upgrading. During upgrade, do NOT remove the battery.

| How to download
and install WM6 |
1. When you finish downloading the image file, unzip the file
first. Please copy ALL of the unzipped files to a mini SD card. . The mini card
must have at least 256MB of memory available.

2. Please make sure the battery is over 60% full before upgrading. Place the
mini SD card into the phone and turn off the phone. Press send + end + power
key at the same time, and it will start installing.
(1)Blue Light: Reading, from Mini SD to SDRAM.
(2)Orange Light: Writing, from SDRAM to Flash.

3. After entering Download mode, plug in the charger NOW to
ensure upgrade stability.

|
4. The upgrade takes about 20 min. Upon completion, the phone will automatically
restart. When the screen displays the power on screen for the first time, tap
the touch panel to go to calibration screen.

|
5. On calibration screen, use the stylus and follow the directions.
|
|
6. You will see an introduction screen on how to use stylus,
tap NEXT.

7. On "Pop-up menu" screen, tap and hold an item for about 2 seconds to
activate the popup menu. Select "Cut".
|
|
8. Follow the prompt on screen and tap and hold on the item for
about 2 seconds to activate the popup menu again.
Select "Paste ".

9. Tap "NEXT".
 |

|
10. Enter the date and your time zone, and then tap "NEXT".
|
|
11. Tap "Skip" to skip setting up password.
 |

|
12. Calibration procedure is complete. Please tap the screen to go to the next
step.

13. The system will start initializing for the first time and install
applications. When the initialization completes, the system will automatically
restart. The upgrade is then complete.
